About the event
A place‑based storytelling picnic that invites people to reflect on the landscapes, neighborhoods, and environments that formed their identity. It’s about honoring where we come from — whether that’s Dallas, Detroit, Delhi, or a tiny town no one has ever heard of — and discovering how our roots connect us.
🧺 How It Works
Origin Circles — Guests sit in small groups and share a short story about a place that shaped them.
Map Wall — A giant map (world + Dallas + Texas) where guests pin their “place of story.”
Sound of Home — A station where people write down a sound from their childhood environment (train whistle, church bells, frying onions, cicadas).
