A Story Quilt Picnic invites neighbors to share short, meaningful stories — childhood memories, family sayings, moments of kindness, cultural traditions, or personal turning points. Each story becomes a “patch” in a symbolic community quilt, representing the beauty of different lives stitched together.
🧺 How It Works
Gathering Circles — Small groups sit on picnic blankets, each with a “story keeper” who gently guides the sharing.
Story Cards — Guests draw cards with prompts like “A moment that changed me” or “A kindness I’ll never forget.”
Quilt Board — After sharing, each person writes a single sentence from their story on a colorful card and pins it to a giant quilt-shaped display.
